"Style is important only when everything else is present! And even then it is not important, since we do not like Beethoven because of his style, which was new at the time, but because of his content, which is always new. Naturally, for someone who otherwise hears nothing in a work, a modern style is a convenient means of establishing a relationship with the author. But that doesn't give me much joy. I would like people to take notice of
what I say, not how I say it. Only when people have perceived the former will they realize the latter is inimitable."

Mixing the None More Black record and it's coming along great. Great band, awesome guys. It's been a really fun project and I'm sad it's almost done. Since, unlike the tracking, the mixing has been mostly up to me, the band is spending a lot of time out of the controll room and I am seeing a different side of their guitarist Colin - he seems intent on beating every level of every edition of Grand Theft Auto, and every time I walk out into the lounge he's attaining new heights of violence and mayhem.
He's a little too good at senseless kiling.
