3. Just a Fire - FANTASTIC Chicago band, ex-members of etc etc
4. San Serac - so cool, Ice Cream wouldn't melt in his mouth
5. Bob Weston's fancy Millennia mic pre sounds AWESOME

8. www.venganza.org
9. they made a 35th anniversary DVD of the original Planet of the Apes with full-length commentary from the soundtrack composer, Jerry Goldsmith. Who did they think was going to watch THAT? Me, of course, but I am only one guy.
10. a mission - to see every film written by Robert Towne or directed by Roman Polanski (see #1) - though I will probably skip Fearless Vampire Killers
Channels have been working on our album and things are looking and sounding very good.
But what an insane couple of weeks it has been.
RIP Biscuit Turner - when I was 18, your music made me get up and move when I didn't know I needed it most.
RIP John Loder - visionary, inspiration, supporter and friend to so many in this weird music world. I'm sad to think we'll never meet again, but grateful for the times we did. And for everything you built and encouraged, and the countless connections that flowed from it all.
